Two-time defending Women’s Physique Olympia champion Sarah Villegas seeks to be the second woman to win three titles in the division. Twenty-three fellow athletes hope to knock the champ out of position. Villegas’ title defense began at the 2022 Olympia Expo in Las Vegas, NV.
The competitors each received a moment to shine individually before being compared in numerically ordered groups. Then, the judges proceeded to determine scores that would later crown the 2022 champion.

The top two from one year ago, Villegas and Coelho, were in the center of the first callout. Coelho showed incredible definition in every pose and held her own against the champion. They were alone in the final callout, making it clear they are the leaders after round one.
The finals for this contest are scheduled to take place at the Zappos Theater later in the day. BarBend will provide updates on this and all 11 world championship events as they take place in Las Vegas. The live stream of the competitions is available on pay-per-view from the Olympia Productions website.

The start times for each division’s pre-judging and finals have not been announced. The morning sessions and evening sessions on Dec. 16, 2022, begin at 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., respectively. The morning and evening sessions on Dec. 17, 2022, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., respectively.
