Men’s Physique Winner — Anderson Arruda

Several competitors were late entries into the contest, including Anderson Arruda, who was declared the winner with perfect scores in both pre-judging and finals. This is his first pro win, and it qualified him for his first Men’s Physique Olympia in November. Arruda can continue competing in pro shows this season despite being Olympia-qualified. Should he win any future pro show during the 2023 season, the Olympia qualification will now pass down to the runner-up.

Second Place — Lucas Viudes

Viudes joined the contest after the competitor lists were initially revealed. He left the stage with second-place honors. This was Viudes’ second show of 2023 season. He placed third in the Sur Cup Pro before this contest.

Viudes is in his rookie season, which is off to an excellent start. He’ll have to enter another show and score gold to reach the 2023 Olympia, as only pro show winners advance to bodybuilding’s grandest stage in 2023.

Third Place — Mailson Araujo Santos

Santos made his pro debut at this contest. He won his pro card at the 2023 NPC Worldwide Arnold Classic Amateur Brazil show.

Santos scored third via all the judges in both scoring rounds. While not good enough for the win, it is impressive nonetheless. If he enters future pro shows this season, he’ll be an athlete to watch.

Women’s Physique Winner — Zama Benta

This was Benta’s first IFBB Pro League win. She is now qualified for the Women’s Physique Olympia for the first time. As was the case with Arruda, she was a late entry but scored straight first-place votes to secure the victory.

Second Place — Lais de Hora

Lais de Hora wasn’t on many radars going into this contest, but she will be going forward, thanks to her runner-up finish. The judges had her solidly in second place in this all-Brazilian lineup.

Third Place — Ana Alexia Freitas Silva

Another surprise finish came in the bronze position. Ana Alexis Freitas Silva made the first callout, which was met with positive support from the fans. While she didn’t get the gold, a top-three finish can be built upon for future shows.
