The 2023 World’s Strongest Man (WSM) Final on April 22, 2023, was initially scheduled to kick off at 8:00 a.m. EST with the Fingal’s Fingers in Myrtle Beach, SC, but Zeus inhaled deep, exhaled deeper, and clapped his hands over the competition area. The first event of the 2023 WSM Final has been delayed due to inclement weather — a “Beach Hazards Statement” of moderate severity was issued by the National Weather Service.
The 2023 WSM Tournament Director Colin Bryce took to the WSM Instagram page at 7:15 a.m. to relay the news of the delay and suggested that a shake-up of event order might ensue:
Certainly, nothing will begin before 9 a.m. Some decisions to be made.
